Link > AP Human Geography Master Class Exam Day Tips Finally, watch this last wrap up “Before the Exam Master Class Video” from College Board. Look over some of the Case Studies we used in the course (Japan for Greying/Declining Population, India for negative effects of the Green Revolution, China and South China Sea for maritime water boundary conflict, etc) so that you are ready to use those as examples if need be. You need to do what the question is asking you to do! Remember to show the reader what you know!!!! Definitions are easy, this test is going to ask you to go beyond just defining and APPLYING…making connections, explaining how issues are inter-related, etc. Remember your task words…define and explain are different. Pay attention to your regions.if it asks you to apply a concept to an issue in Southeast Asia, you CAN’T talk about Japan…that is East Asia!!. Make sure that you aren’t talking about world governments working together when the question asked you about something local, like a food desert. You may be asked to look at a problem at different scales from global to local. Your population packet was pink for a reason! Remember that women (educating them, allowing them to work, govern, etc) are part of the solution to many issues in the course. Remember that globalization, sustainability, and local diversity, factor into almost everything that we talked about. If you don’t submit on time, your essay will not count. SUBMIT WHEN THE TIMER IS RED! You have 5 minutes to copy/past or upload your answers. Login at 3:30 and don’t be late. Exam starts at 4:00, but there is pre-exam info you have to type in. Both need your initials and ID at the top. You will have a different document for each of the two questions…in other words, you will upload two separate docs. Remember to put your initials and your AP # at the top of your document/answers. Looking over your notes and vocab takes precious time…if you know the answer, you know the answer! Only look up something when you are unsure. Have your notes, vocab, and any other materials ready for reference. Have your e-ticket ready (sent in email or you can get in your AP Classroom/My AP account.).
